Auckland’s waterfront is being opened up for everyone to enjoy, with 16ha of land in Wynyard Quarter being transformed into habour side community with parks and plazas, apartments, shops, restaurants and offices alongside the traditional marine and fishing industries. The first stage of the revitalisation of what is affectionately known as the old ‘Tank Farm’ will be completed in time for the Rugby World Cup 2011. This includes North Wharf on Jellicoe Street, where two new buildings will be constructed on either side of the old Red Shed
North Wharf’s history has inspired the design of the new buildings , which will house a range of seafood-related eateries. Generous alfresco dining areas will allow patrons to enjoy the theatre of the harbour, with fishing boats still delivering their catch there, and the freshest seafood.
To celebrate the opening of North Wharf, we are offering one lucky person the chance to win a dinner for six worth $1,000 at the eatery of their choice.
